FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-prevention fire-fighting facilities and can be used for sealing of pipeline passage units through walls, partitions on industrial facilities with increased fire hazard and for protection of rooms, personnel, equipment against fire, smoke and environmental effects. Pipe fire seal comprises multilayer stack made of textile material treated with protective compounds. Multilayer pouch contains a layer of fire-resistant material and insulating layers. Layer of fire-resistant material can be made of threads of ceramic fibre, reinforced with glass fibre or thin metal wire, or threads of silica fibre, or from threads of hydrocarbon fibre. Insulating layers can be made from refractory heat-insulating material based on ceramic fibres or stone wool, or glass wool, or slag wool. Also it can contain metalized layers made from metal foil. Multilayer pack has an unfolded configuration of the circumference segment and is fixed on the cylindrical element and the pipe by means of clamps.
EFFECT: invention improves reliability of fire protection and protection against fire non-proliferation through a pipeline.
