FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital systems for receiving and processing signals and can be used to increase efficiency of algorithms of soft decoding, power control and allocation of resources implemented in multichannel systems for receiving orthogonal signals. Technical result is achieved due to the fact that the device is multichannel, wherein each channel, except the quadrature mixer, additionally includes a unit for estimating the square of the envelope and a key, which enables to take samples of squares of complex envelopes of the signal mixture with noise at the outputs of the channels of the device simultaneously (at a time T corresponding to the duration of the channel symbol). In the common part of the device there introduced is a whole row of new units providing processing of the specified counts and obtaining the estimation of signal-to-noise ratio.
EFFECT: technical result is wider field of use of device and shorter time spent on obtaining signal-to-noise estimate.
