FIELD: drilling and blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of drilling and blasting operations in hard rocks at open pits and can be used in various industries using blasting operations in rock massifs. Combined stem includes casing made of elastic material, for example, vulcanized rubber or plastic mass. Body is made in upper part in form of monolithic cone, in lower part – in form of hollow cylinder, having three-four longitudinal sections. On top of the body there is a polyfraction loose material.
EFFECT: invention allows improving reliability of detonation products locking in charging cavity by combined stemming composed of case and charge part above it till complete destruction of surrounding rock.
