FIELD: printing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to printing cylinders and transition sleeves for flexographic printing. Application describes cylinder (10) including cylindrical housing (11). At that, it is provided, that the first part of side surface (48) of cylindrical housing (11) is made porous and gas-permeable, and second part of side surface (48) of cylindrical housing (11) is made gas-permeable, wherein porous gas-permeable first part of side surface (48) is connected to at least one gas supply system and wherein first part of side surface (48) is at least 0.1 %, maximum 50 %. Other aspects of the invention relate to the corresponding adapter sleeve (10) and the corresponding plate cylinder.
EFFECT: technical result is formation of a much more uniform gas cushion compared to using separate holes for gas outlet, as well as easier padding printing sleeve on adapter sleeve, reduced noise level when the printed sleeve is placed on the transition sleeve according to the invention.
