SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to containers intended for the presence of pressurized fluids in them. Container for fluid media intended for containing fluids under pressure contains a curved closed lateral surface and two edge surfaces having a curved shape connected to the side surface. Each of two edge surfaces has contour with two opposite sharpened parts bent to one side so that it is possible to connect edge surfaces with side surface by means of welded seam. Side surface has a shaped shape corresponding to edge sections of the sharpened parts of each edge surface, and each of the end surfaces is bent by its central part outside relative to the container.

EFFECT: fabrication of a container intended for containing fluids under pressure, using simple universal industrial equipment with simultaneous provision of operational reliability and improved technical characteristics of capacity.
