FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage water heaters with immersed electric heating elements. Electric storage water heater comprises a tank, an inlet branch pipe, an outlet branch pipe, a drain pipeline and a unit of tubular electric heaters, contains brackets mounted to the upper part of the tank, made with thickness of 4 mm to 6 mm, where the tank is made of stainless steel with thickness of 2 mm to 5 mm, where the end parts of the tank are made of a toroidal shape, with a height of the toroidal part from 6 mm to 20 mm and a height of the spherical part from 0.2 D to 0.3 D, where D is the diameter of the tank, wherein the unit of tubular electric heaters is made with a total power of 4 kW to 150 kW, and the tubular electric heaters are made of stainless steel, electric storage water heater also contains a safety valve with pressure of up to 0.6 MPa, a liquid level float sensor, a liquid monometric thermometer and a thermostat, wherein the thermostat is mounted in the upper part of the tank at the same level with the outlet branch pipe, wherein on said tank mounted is a heat insulation composed of basalt mat with thickness of 30 mm to 70 mm and density of 50 kg/m3 to 150 kg/m3 covered by a case with a cover made of polyvinyl chloride material on a fabric base.

EFFECT: invention provides higher reliability and increases the rate of water heating inside the tank.
