SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile communication, specifically to user registration means in a mobile network. Implementation of technical solution described above provides expansion of functional capabilities due to provision of authentication of user's identity. This is due to the fact that in the proposed method, a user and his/her identity document are photographed, a user's photo document is identified on the obtained photoimage and the document data, as well as a comparison of the user on the photo image from the document and the user before the shooting module. Besides, due to that data acquisition and processing is performed by means of system without manual input of text data and manual loading of photo files, higher speed of user registration in mobile operator network is provided.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is broader functional capabilities of the device by providing authentication of the identity of the mobile communication user, including during primary registration.
