SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of machine building. Device for converting reciprocating motion into rotary motion and vice versa comprises main shaft, guide mechanism of translational motion, gear sector and rack frame made with possibility of translational motion along guide mechanism of translational movement; at that, toothed sector is rigidly coupled with main shaft. On internal rack wall there is a pair of toothed racks. Device further comprises a reversible mechanism rigidly connected to the main shaft, at that, on the reverse mechanism there are guiding curved surface and guide element, on the rack frame there is a reversible unit, and at that, during conversion of back-and-forth movement into rotational movement and vice versa, reversible unit can be jointly limited by guide element and guide curved surface. Also disclosed is a cylinder device configured to use a device for converting reciprocating motion into rotary motion and vice versa.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of the device.
