FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, and more specifically to solar panels. Solar battery strut comprises two-link mechanism, first links ends of which are joined to each other by jaw-eye connection. End of the driving link is arranged in the form of "jaw", and the end of the driven link - "eye". Stop is oriented parallel to the hinge joint axis of links and is arranged in the housing fixed on the lug of the driven link of the strut, besides, the first end face of the housing is made open. Lug of the first end of the driven link of the brace is equipped with a through hole, besides, the axes of the fixing and through holes are oriented parallel to the axis of hinged connection of links and equidistant from it. Body part adjoining its first end is inserted into the through hole. Middle part of the stop, the surface of the fixing hole and the inner surface of the part of the body adjoining its first end are made in the form of cones with close inclination angles. Nose part of the stopper is equipped with a rolling bearing and in the compressed state of the spring it is pressed to the lug of the first end of the driving link of the strut, and in the unloaded state of the spring it is passed through the fixing hole of lugs of the leading link of the strut. At that, middle part of stopper is pressed to surfaces of fixing hole and part of housing adjoining its first end.
EFFECT: enabling higher reliability.
