SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a cap assembly for a drug delivery device and a method of assembling a cap assembly. Cap assembly for a drug delivery device comprises a cap and a clamping element. Clamping element can be attached to the cap. Clamping element comprises a first component and a second component. First component at least partially enters second component. First component and second component are connected to each other, and second component is attached to cap due to connection between first component and second component. Method of assembling a cap assembly for a drug delivery device, the method comprising the following steps: providing a cap, providing a first component of a clamping element, providing a second component of a clamping element, connecting a first component with a cap, clamping a second component on a first component, wherein second component is elastically deformed when second component is clamped on first component.
EFFECT: use of inventions allows the user to issue a certain number of drug doses that are assigned for a specific user or are fixed.
