FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to data collection device (100; 200; 300; 400) on the movement of starting element (11) relatively to kit element (12) attached to injection device (1) and containing starting element (11), kit element (12) and injection mechanism (8), while during the drug injection: a) there is a relative rotation between kit element (12) and starting element (11) in accordance with forward movement of injection mechanism (8); and b) starting element (11) with reference to the rotational moment is connected by friction and/or coupling to case (10) of injection device (1); in this case, data collection device (100; 200; 300; 400) contains: main part (102; 202; 302; 402), made with the possibility of attaching to kit element (12); sensor unit (110; 210; 310; 410) containing sensor (112; 212; 312; 412) and scale (114; 214; 314; 414), while one of sensor (112; 212; 312; 412) and scale (114; 214; 314; 414) is located in or on main part (102; 202; 302; 402) and the other of sensor (112; 212; 312; 412) and scale (114; 214; 314; 414) is located on starting element (11) or is connected to starting element (11) with the possibility of rotation, while sensor (112; 212, 312; 412) is made with the possibility of detecting the rotation of main part (102; 202; 302; 402) relatively to starting element (11); processor (50) made with the possibility of determining the amount of the drug injected by injection device (1) based on the detected rotation.
EFFECT: device is compact and provides accurate and reliable collection of dosage-related information, even if the user needs to determine and inject the drug dose with two hands.
