FIELD: equipment for pavement repair.

SUBSTANCE: road milling machine for milling surface of roadway includes frame, milling unit, main drive assembly of milling drum and lifting assembly of drive belt. Milling unit includes milling drum installed with possibility of rotation relative to frame, at that, milling drum is equipped with drive shaft, on which pulley is installed. Main assembly of milling drum is intended for bringing milling drum into rotation relative to frame. At that, the main assembly of the milling drum includes a drive belt, which interacts with the pulley on the driving shaft of the milling drum, for bringing the milling drum into rotation. Lifting unit of drive belt, which can be actuated for selective disconnection of drive belt from pulley of drive shaft of milling drum.

EFFECT: preventing accidental or spontaneous rotation of the milling drum, providing rotation of the milling drum to a small angle without overcoming friction forces.
