FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for performance of bench tests of automobile tires. Device includes a road surface, a carriage configured to hold a test wheel, on which the tested tire is installed, with possibility of its rotation and capable to move along surface of road surface in condition, in which the tested tire is in contact with the road surface, and a guide mechanism configured to direct the carriage movement in the direction of motion. Guide mechanism includes a rail guide passing in the direction of movement of the carriage, and a movable element attached to the carriage and made with possibility of movement along the rail guide. Movable element includes a roller configured to roll on a rail guide, and a bearing configured to support the roller with possibility of rotation.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of bench tests.
