SUBSTANCE: method of estimating the AC machine rotor position and speed for a vehicle. Method includes the following steps: determining machine stator currents in three-phase reference system and machine stator voltage values in three-phase reference system, determining components of stator currents in a two-phase reference system depending on stator currents in a three-phase reference system using a Concordia transformation, determining stator voltage components in a two-phase reference system depending on stator voltages in a three-phase reference system using a Concordia transformation, iteratively determining the rotor speed depending on the stator voltages in the two-phase reference system and the adjustment parameters, determining machine stator magnetic flows in two-phase reference system depending on rotor speed and dropping parameters; rotor position is determined depending on stator magnetic flows in two-phase reference system, stator currents in two-phase reference system and equivalent inductance.
EFFECT: invention discloses a method of estimating the position and speed of an AC machine rotor for an automobile and a corresponding system.
