FIELD: power engineering; control methods.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to control method of multiphase synchronous generator with independent excitation in wind turbine. To control synchronous generator stator currents, anchor speed (n) is determined, specified value (PSoll) of power, which must be supplied by synchronous generator based on detected speed (n), current (ierr) or voltage (verr) of excitation on the basis of detected speed (n) and certain specified power (PSoll). Current (ierr) or excitation voltage (verr) determined in this way is introduced by means of excitation control to excitation input. Stator currents are determined, which must be supplied as preset stator currents, based on detected speed (n) and defined preset power (PSoll). Rectifier is controlled to set definite stator currents to be supplied to stator output for stator preset currents. Additionally, current (ierr) or excitation voltage (Verr) and stator currents are determined, which must be supplied as preset stator currents by means of adaptive control device. Note here that current ierr or excitation voltage verr or stator currents to be supplied are used to generate control variables for control device.

EFFECT: increased output power.
