SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a non-vesicular nanoparticle, a method of producing said particle and use in treating microbial infections. Non-vesicular nanoparticle for treating microbial infections contains a fatty acid or its derivative and a surfactant; wherein size of said nanoparticles is 5–50 nm; where the fatty acid is linolenic acid, lauric acid or myristoleic acid; fatty acid derivative is lauric acid monoglyceride; and surfactant is polysorbate 20 or polysorbate 80.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides significant antibacterial activity, excellent stability, use of nanoparticles as an excellent antibacterial drug not inducing drug-resistant strains.
