SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a composition for air polishing of hard dental tissues, as well as to a tool for air polishing of teeth. Composition contains at least: first abrasive powder suitable for tooth polishing, containing sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, glycine, silicate, silica, silicon hydroxide, silicon carbide, powdered pumice powder, diamond powder, aluminum oxide, aluminum hydroxide or a mixture of said compounds; second powder of gel-forming agent selected from poloxamers, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, methylcellulose, carrageenans and mixtures thereof; third powder of dentifrice. Said dentifrice is a therapeutic substance or dye. Tool for air polishing of teeth comprises a tip and a container with said composition, wherein the nozzle is configured to spray said composition under pressure, wherein the composition is surrounded by a liquid jet.

EFFECT: according to the invention, the composition enables preferentially more functional traditional air polishing of the teeth, supplementing it with any permitted type of dental treatment by applying a gel, wherein without processing complexity and increasing duration; composition of the composition enables more traditional dental air polishing, supplemented by applying the formed active gel, containing a dentifrice without complicating and prolonging the process; wherein it becomes possible to provide a dental treatment agent for a relatively long period of time; in case the therapeutic agent is used as a dentifrice, the composition provides an additional therapeutic treatment dental tissues.
