SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents used for cleansing teeth. The composition for cleansing teeth comprise in a single phase one or more linear polyphosphates with average chain length is 4 or more, ionic active component chosen from the group consisting of source of fluoride ions, tin, zinc, copper and their mixtures wherein ionic active component presents as a solid dispersion in the composition and delivers the effective amount of ionic binding substance during the solubilization process. The binding system consists of a thickening agent comprising polysaccharides, carbomers, poloxamers, modified celluloses and their mixtures and one wetting substance wherein the total content of water in the agent composition for cleansing teeth provides effective delivery of active substances, and possesses anti-gingivitis effect against the deposit formation also.
