SUBSTANCE: invention relates to audio signal processing means. First section of audio signal spectrum is separated from second section of audio signal spectrum, first section has first signal characteristic, and second section has second signal characteristic. Frequency band of first section is expanded using first parameters. Frequency band of the second section is expanded using the second parameters. First expanded section and the second extended section are used to obtain the expanded combined audio signal. Phase of at least a portion of the audio signal is shifted to obtain a signal with phase shift. Phase-shifted signal is filtered using a high-pass filter to obtain a first filtered signal. Audio signal is filtered using a low-pass filter to obtain a second filtered signal. Filtered signals are combined to produce an improved audio signal.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the efficiency of audio signal processing.
