SUBSTANCE: invention relates to audio signal processing means. Phase values are calculated for the spectral values of a sequence of frames representing the overlapping frames in the frequency domain of the audio signal. Moreover, the phase values are calculated based on the information of the target envelope in the time domain related to the processed audio signal, so that the processed audio signal has, at least in the approximation, a target envelope in the time domain and the spectral envelope defined by the sequence of frames in the frequency domain.

EFFECT: technical result is to improve the efficiency of audio signal processing.
