SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a dispenser for sheet products, having a casing with an inner space for accommodating a pile of sheet products, the casing comprising a dispensing opening for dispensing a sheet product in front of said pile; and electronic controller. Controller is configured to obtain a drawing signal indicating extraction of product in front of said stack through dispensing opening and, when receiving the pull signal, to send a command signal for transmitting a plurality of sheet products in front of the stack to a dispensing position. Controller is also configured to receive a low level signal indicating that the amount of sheet products left in the casing is reduced to below a predetermined level, and, when receiving said low signal, to switch to low-level mode, in which sending a command signal in response to the pull-off signal is turned off.
