FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of designating coordinates of moving and fixed objects. To indicate the submarine, the polynya is detected by the wormwood with the technical means of the submarine and its coordinates are recorded. Floating navigational buoy is used to designate polynya; it has control system, power supply, hydroacoustic radiator and its recess mechanism with cable-rope. Program of operation is introduced into the control system; a buoy is launched from the submarine and the buoy floats to the water surface under its positive buoyancy. Hydroacoustic emitter is immersed at preset depth and signals are transmitted in accordance with the installed program.

EFFECT: providing control over the location of a submarine in a given area.
