FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding and can be used in designing high cross-country capacity vessels using a dynamic air cushion. V-like coupled braking device for a ship on a compressed airflow comprises, on the aft body comprises two shafts symmetric in vertical frames and rotating in different sides with longitudinal projections with sharp edges, combined by step angle and height of projections with possibility of rotation of shafts. Shafts are moved at different angles in horizontal plane by connection through axis of lower shaft with movable control lever of crew, with central control system. U-shaped shields with bent lateral walls and/or in the form of turned semicircle shields, which rotate in different directions, are rigidly attached to housing shafts on the outer side. Upper fixed braking shield plays the role of air braking above deck at stern, and lower braking shield acts as braking when it enters water from side of open pneumatic channel behind steering devices. Braking devices in the form of shields are approximated to directly their close addition parallel to the aft deck in ship motion at cruise speed and above the bottom of the open pneumatic channel for water-air jets leaving into atmosphere. Crew vessel central control system incorporates all means of implementation, both of traction, turning and braking, by means of V-like coupled braking device extension in different directions.
EFFECT: improved braking effect and ship controllability on compressed airflow.
