SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to measurement equipment, in particular, to control complex of physical and mechanical properties of magnetic fluid and can be used in various industries. Method of controlling physical and mechanical properties of magnetic fluid by displacement and oscillation of its column in a magnetic field involves holding a magnetic field in a transparent cavity of a magnetic fluid column, interconnected with U-shaped cavity filled with distilled water, and further oscillation fixation by means of vibration indicator in form of inductance coil with signal transmission through amplifier to oscillograph and its displacement when controlling level of distilled water in U-shaped cavity.

EFFECT: technical result is monitoring of physical and mechanical properties of magnetic fluid.
