SUBSTANCE: invention relates to disinfectants and can be used for automatic disinfection of extended objects. Device for disinfecting the surface of an elongated cylindrical object comprises a hollow body, a disinfecting apparatus and a means of movement over the surface of the object. At that, the hollow housing is made in the form of a ring, the disinfecting facility includes at least one ultraviolet radiation source and a rechargeable electric power source connected to it, located on the inner side of the ring, which is connected through voltage converter with at least one receiving inductance coil installed on ring end. Device is equipped with control unit and wireless charging device, formed by at least one transmitting inductance coil installed on object end with possibility of interaction with at least one receiving inductance coil, wherein the control unit is electrically connected to at least one transmitting inductance coil.
EFFECT: invention provides a disinfecting device that does not depend on the need to replenish the supply of disinfectant and does not contain wires, moving together with the movable unit of the device.
