FIELD: disinfection.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to disinfection and can be used for disinfection of air and surfaces in rooms. Bactericidal agent for aerosol disinfection contains iodine as an active substance, potassium nitrate, talc and starch in the following ratio of components, wt%: iodine 36-42, potassium nitrate 36-42, talc 5-7, starch - balance. Method also provides a method of disinfecting air and surfaces in a room using said bactericidal composition.
EFFECT: use of group of inventions increases stability and storage life of bactericide compound based on iodine without significant loss of bactericidal activity, as well as reduce toxicological hazard and explosive and fire hazard of bactericidal agent.
