FIELD: disinfectants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to disinfectants and can be used in agriculture, in particular in veterinary medicine, food industry, medicine, utilities, in transport, as well as for the elimination of foci of infectious contamination. The bactericidal agent contains the active substance - iodine, sodium nitrate, carbohydrates, as well as activated charcoal and talc in the following ratio of components, wt.%: iodine 20-40; sodium nitrate 50-64; charcoal 1-10; talc 0-5; the rest of the carbohydrates.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the yield of iodine from the solid to the gaseous state, to increase the bactericidal activity of the agent and to reduce the fire hazard of using the agent.
