FIELD: medicine; personal protective equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to individual protection means of respiratory organs, eyes, skin and scalp of people head against airborne and contact transmitted viral and bacterial infections. Invention can also serve to protect the atmosphere of the room in which the user resides, from bacteria and viruses released by the user during breathing. Personal protective equipment (PPE) comprising a bearing frame with a transparent face panel, a mechanism for fixing and adjusting the installation of the personal protective means on the user's head, detachable fabric cape made with possibility of fixation with seal on front panel and parts of frame, as well as with sealing band in neck area, air treatment unit, air path of which consists of suction chamber, air disinfection means and fan, which is made with possibility to provide air supply into undermask space and maintaining in it the excessive pressure and flow rate, exceeding the value required for the inhalation phase implementation, as well as air release device from undermask space, power supply, control unit. At that, air treatment unit is installed on frame, and air path of treatment unit is connected by air duct with undermask space so that outlet part of air duct is oriented with flowing jet to inner surface of front panel.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in failure-free operation time both in terms of protection against pathogenic microorganisms, and in terms of improving PPE user characteristics, ease of use and maintenance of long performance efficiency of user.
