FIELD: wireless communication systems.

SUBSTANCE: method of using a directed broadband antenna for communicating devices with wireless cellular data networks is characterized by using a router device configured to connect Vivaldi directional broadband antennas to its wireless cellular communication modules. At that connection and operation of wireless cellular communication modules is carried out with those base stations which are located in the coverage area of the main lobe of the antenna pattern, and switching wireless communication modules between base stations in wireless cellular data networks is carried out in selected directions.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to reduce the number of delays during data transmission when switching routing devices between base stations in wireless data networks using a directional broadband Vivaldi antenna, which reduces number of such switching.
