FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for reservation of a directional channel. A directional request to send (DRTS) message is received from a transmitting node. A directional clear to send (hereinafter – DCTS) message is transmitted using one or more first beams, wherein at least one first beam is directed in the first direction to the transmitting node. The second direction is determined, while the second direction is a direction different from the first direction. At least one additional DCTS message is transmitted using one or more second beams, wherein at least one second beam is directed in the second direction to a potentially interfering node. Data is received from the transmitting node. Following one or more additional DCTS messages are periodically transmitted in at least second direction within maximum channel occupancy time (MCOT) during the reception of data from the transmitting node.
EFFECT: possibility of shared use of an unlicensed spectrum by users.
