SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to tribotechnics for reducing wear of friction assemblies of machines and equipment operating in oils. Method consists in electric action on oil by electrodes, at that voltage of 50 V is supplied to tin electrode, copper voltage is 60 V, and to zinc electrode – 70 V.

EFFECT: wear of parts is reduced by 2_73–2_92 times, and moment of friction and temperature in friction zone by 20 %.
