FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of metals from corrosion and can be used for weakening of internal corrosion in pipelines for crude oil during storage and transportation of crude oil. Composition of the corrosion inhibitor contains dimeric fatty acid (DFA); long-chain alkylamine; ester derivative of alkylated phenol; an organic acid or a mixture of acids and a solvent. Method of producing an oil-soluble and water-dispersible corrosion inhibitor composition involves: (a) dissolving a dimeric fatty acid in a solvent to produce mixture (i); (b) addition of alkylamine to the mixture (i) obtained in step (a) in the form of a mixture (ii) and mixing mixture (ii) at temperature in range of 40–60 °C; (c) adding an alkyl ester of the alkylated phenol to the mixture obtained in step (b) to obtain a mixture (iii); (d) adding an organic acid or mixture of acids to mixture (iii) obtained in step (c) to obtain mixture (iv), and (e) mixing mixture (iv) obtained at step (d) at room temperature to obtain a corrosion inhibitor composition.

EFFECT: obtaining a high-technology oil-soluble and water-dispersible corrosion inhibitor composition for attenuating internal corrosion in crude oil pipelines.
