There is at least one working unit to which power taken from the internal combustion engine can be supplied. Provided is a control device configured to automatically switch an internal combustion engine from one power level to another power level when varying power, consumed by at least one working unit. Disclosed is to assign power levels to different pre-selected power ranges, different from each other, at least the highest of the assigned power levels, and perform control device with possibility of internal combustion engine switching only between power levels of corresponding preselected power range.
