FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to determination of capacity and loss factor of each of multiple capacitive components of power supply device. Disclosed method comprises steps of: a) obtaining for each capacitance component corresponding value of capacitance and value of loss factor, and b) processing values of capacity and value of loss factor, wherein treatment includes removal of total temperature effect on capacitance values from capacitance values and removal of total temperature effect on values of loss factor from values of loss factor to obtain for each capacitive component of temperature compensated value of capacitance and thermocompensated value of loss factor.

EFFECT: technical result is elimination of temperature effect on measurement results.
