FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel supply systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Claim describes a fuel injector for use in an ICE having housing (1), in which a high pressure cavity (2) is formed, which is filled with fuel under high pressure, and in which needle (4) moving in longitudinal direction is arranged, which has sealing surface (5), which it interacts with locking cone (7) made on housing (1) and thus opens and closes connection of high-pressure cavity (2) with blind hole (10). This blind hole (10), adjacent directly to locking cone (7), forms cylindrical section (12), as a result of which input edge (11) is formed at transition between locking cone (7) and blind hole (10). At least one spraying hole (14) is made in fuel injector housing (1) and extends from blind hole (10). Blind hole (10) cylindrical section is made with reduction of diameter, as a result, in this blind hole (10) ledge (16) is formed, between which and input edge (11) from blind hole (10) at least one spraying hole (14) is moving.
EFFECT: invention allows achieving finer, finely dispersed spraying of fuel by nozzle in combustion chamber, which contributes to improvement of fuel combustion process and achievement of better engine performance.
