FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of antenna equipment and is intended for construction of active phased antenna arrays (APAA) of circular polarization. Technical result is achieved due to design of circular polarization antenna element, containing round waveguide, which open end changes into conical horn, and input is connected to waveguide transformer to rectangular narrowed section. Polariser dielectric plate arranged in asymmetric shape relative to waveguide axis is installed in circular waveguide. Polariser is oriented relative to the electric field intensity vector on the waveguide axis at angle within 45±5°. In the opening of the horn there is a dielectric insert with a central through hole, in which a metal rod is inserted, which enters inside the horn cavity, and protruding above dielectric insert part of metal rod is made in form of comb-shaped structure formed by rings located along it. Near the aperture of the horn, the diameter of the rings increases and at the end of the metal rod decreases to its transverse dimension.
EFFECT: high ellipticity coefficient to value not less than 0_95 of the antenna emitter.
