FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and serves as an irradiator in a mirror tracking antenna with circular polarization. Disclosed is a circular polarization monopulse feed, consisting of two concentric hollow metal cylindrical pipes - internal and external, wherein the inner cylindrical pipe forms a round waveguide with H11 waves for the sum channel, a coaxial waveguide with a TEM wave is formed between the inner and outer cylindrical pipes to form a differential channel, characterized by that in inner cylindrical pipe round waveguide passes into conical horn, which opening is located inside external cylindrical pipe, there is a stepwise increase in the inner diameter of the outer cylindrical pipe, a dielectric ring with a system of inclined metal strips is installed on the cross-section jump in the area of the larger inner diameter of the outer cylindrical pipe.
EFFECT: increasing the slope of the direction-finding voltage characteristic by a factor of ≈√2, providing a high value of the ellipticity coefficient in the BP of the differential channel (not less than 0,7 in terms of power).
