Sought value of tritium emission is calculated after the period of measurements based on the measured values of tritium activity in counting samples taken in bubblers of the flow meter-sampler; measured values of water mass collected in bubblers of flow meter-sampler after expiration of measurement period; as per measured average arithmetic values of volumetric flow rate of air sample through flow meter-sampler and air flow in ventilation system; at known values of coefficients of tritium oxide trapping from air in bubblers of flow meter-sampler, coefficient of thermal oxidation (conversion) of elementary tritium into oxide; known initial values of water mass in bubblers of flow meter-sampler.

EFFECT: technical result is measurements of ultra-low activity values of tritium emissions in exhaust ventilation system.
