FIELD: underground mining of coal beds.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for underground safe development of high-gas-bearing coal beds. Method of underground safe development of high-gas-bearing coal beds with transportation of coal along the haulage entry on wheel platforms. In compliance with this method, directional ventilation pattern of production section is provided, which provides neutralization of methane in worked-out space, with movement of fresh ventilation jet along haulage gangway and in ascending order along lava, and outgoing air jet from lava through worked space along installed in it round large-diameter metal pipe, which is protected against rock pressure and destruction by small rubbing stripes erected on its both sides.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of neutralizing methane release.
