FIELD: explosives.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of explosives based on granulated ammonium nitrate of various granulometric composition, manufactured at blasting sites, and can be used in the mining industry, construction and in special blasting works. Mechanized loading of granulated ammonium nitrate by a mixing charging machine and mechanical grinding are carried out to manufacture an explosive based on ammonium nitrate. It is further mixed with combustible components in the liquid phase. For grinding granulated ammonium nitrate, a grinding device is used, installed directly in the mixing charging machine in front of the mixing screw, which makes it possible to grind ammonium nitrate directly before mixing with combustible components and loading the mixture into the well. The manufacturing process of the explosive includes additional grinding of ammonium nitrate with the regulation of particle size distribution during the transportation directly for mixing. The granulometric composition is created using a device for regulating the granulometric composition, installed in front of the mixing devices of the mixing charging machines and stationary type mixers. The device consists of a body, a shaft, a cantilevered rotor, a damper that regulates the flow of ammonium nitrate, and a perforated basket that allows to adjust the particle size distribution immediately before mixing, a guide funnel and a drive. The perforation of the basket has a slit shape, the edges of which are bent in different directions, so that the gap S between the edges is between 4 to 1 mm, depending on the required particle size distribution.

EFFECT: improving the explosive characteristics of the explosive, increasing the efficiency of blasting operations using explosives with different detonation characteristics based on crushed ammonium nitrate of various dispersions, expanding the areas of use of explosives manufactured at blasting sites by implementing a method using mixing charging machines, the standard design of which has a small-sized device for adjusting the granulometric composition, which makes it possible to grind the ammonium nitrate immediately before mixing and loading into the well.
