FIELD: explosives.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of emulsion explosives based on ammonium nitrate, produced at blasting sites, and can be used in mining industry and construction. When producing water-resistant high-density suspension compositions of explosives, inverse emulsion matrix is sensitized with solid components. An inverse emulsion matrix is used, which is a liquid-in-liquid system, in which a concentrated solution of oxidant salts is used as a disperse phase, and fuel and an emulsifier are used as a dispersion medium. They are sensitized with solid activated non-explosive components in the form of an oxidant and/or in the form of fuel, which are inert with respect to the components of the emulsion matrix. Content of components in suspension composition is as follows: inverse emulsion matrix from 90 to 40 wt.%, activated non-explosive components from 10 to 60 wt.%, fuel based on liquid hydrocarbons – petroleum oils, diesel fuel – in an amount required to achieve a stoichiometric balance. Activation of sensitizing non-explosive components is carried out by grinding with adjustment of granulometric composition and increase in specific surface area of solid substance immediately before mixing with emulsion matrix. Sensitization with solid activated non-explosive components is carried out at a temperature of not higher than 30 °C.
EFFECT: improved explosive characteristics, which depend on substance density.
