FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to colorectal surgery. During the controlled circular dilation of the anal sphincter, an anal dilator of a truncated cone is used. Anal dilator is inserted into the anal opening with conical apex forward, with effort not more than two kilograms, provided with a calibrated spring mechanism installed inside the cone of the anal dilator. Degree of action of anal dilator on muscular sphincter fibres by value of sphincter pressure on anal dilator by means of device in form of current-conducting elastic rubber tube located on outer surface of dilator cone, tightly closed on both sides, inflated to pressure of 50 to 200 mm Hg. and having a line of electronic contacts installed inside tube along its entire length, and connected to electronic indicator installed on truncated cone base. Pressure variation in the tube is recorded using an electronic pressure sensor and an electronic measuring instrument mounted on the base of the cone. It is followed by cone-divulsion for 7–10 minutes.
EFFECT: method enables excluding insufficient or excessive effect on sphincter muscular fibres, reducing operation time with increasing technical level of instrumentation of surgeon-proctologist in anal fissures and anal sphincter spasm operations.
