FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to creation of body smell simulators for training of search dogs. Simulator of cadaver residues for training of search dogs for detecting corpses contains an inert base in form of microcrystalline cellulose and / or silica gel, an scent complex containing an aromatic additive imitating odor of cadaver remains in amount of 0.30-12.00 wt%, applied on an inert base, and a stabilizing complex consisting of aerosil impregnated with volatile substances - chemical markers of corpse odor of different degree of decomposition, taken in amount of 0.03-2.50 wt%. All components are taken in certain proportions, wherein quantitative ratio of a scent complex to a stabilizing complex is (2.0÷3.3):1.0.
EFFECT: using the invention enables to obtain a simulator which does not contain hazardous biological materials with a long shelf life.
