FIELD: training; creation of odor simulators.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of educational requisites – imitators of explosive substances odors, in particular to detection of objects imitating explosives using specially trained service dogs. Simulator of odors of explosives for training of search dogs for detection of explosives includes an inert base containing microcrystalline cellulose or silica gel, and an odor substance. As an odor substance, the simulator contains an aromatic additive applied on an inert base and containing explosives or powder in a mixture with process additives producing explosives or powders, and additionally a stabilizing complex consisting of aerosil adsorbent, characterized by specific adsorption surface of 50–450 m2/g, impregnated with substances contained in technical admixtures of explosives. Ingredients in imitator are contained in following ratio, wt%: odor substance 40.0–55.0; stabilizing complex 1.0–2.5; inert base – balance. Stabilizing complex is taken in amount of 2.0–5.0 % by weight of an odor substance.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of expiration date and durability of simulator for training and training of service dogs.
