FIELD: cynology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of cynology. The method for training search dogs to search for cadaveric remains or corpses involves the use of a canine kit, which includes simulators of the smell of cadaveric remains and simulators of a masking or distracting odor. The quantitative ratio of the cadaveric odor simulator to the masking or distracting odor simulator is 1:(3-20). The decrease in the intensity of the odor is provided by a gradual decrease in the amount of the odor simulator to 10-25% of the initial one. Powder simulants of the smell of decomposing flesh are used as simulants; decaying infected flesh; cadaveric blood; cadaveric blood of animals; cadaveric remains of natural total mummification of the drying stage; cadaveric remains of natural total mummification of the stage of hardening; burnt flesh; bone remains buried in a humid area; bone remains buried in rough, dry terrain; a dismembered corpse.
