FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the field of electrical equipment for control of a distribution electrical network containing one or several first network devices having variable settings. Method according to present invention includes steps of: determining target consumption value for said distribution electrical network, wherein said target consumption value is determined relative to the observation time interval final point, in which consumption of said distribution electrical network is monitored in a given electric viewing unit of said distribution electrical network; and performing control procedure to control settings of said first network devices.
EFFECT: technical result is provision of effective control of consumption mode in distribution electric networks and thereby elimination or reduction of undesirable operations of overload protection devices.
