PORTABLE/TRANSPORTABLE ELECTROMAGNETIC TOMOGRAPHY UNIT Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B6/03

Abstract RU 2735283 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: system of portable/transportable installation for formation of electromagnetic tomographic image is developed, containing portable/transportable device, taking into account object boundaries, intended for housing a biological object, wherein the portable/transportable apparatus has a hollow structure, which walls comprise a plurality of windows for electromagnetic radiation, each of which is independently opened and closed by means of corresponding micro-gate, equipment for transmitting/receiving electromagnetic radiation, which is configured to jointly generate an electromagnetic field passing into the apparatus through an open window or windows for electromagnetic radiation, and receiving an electromagnetic field, coming out through open window or window after it was scattered/changed as a result of interference by biological object located inside, wherein the walls of the hollow structure define the boundaries of the image region and are made at least partially from a material opaque to the generated electromagnetic field, a position determining system configured to determine position information relating to a portable/transportable apparatus which takes into account object boundaries relative to an external reference system, wherein external reference system includes position of hardware equipment for transmission/reception of electromagnetic radiation, or position of equipment for transmitting/receiving electromagnetic radiation is set relative to external reference system, central processor, which implements generation of electromagnetic tomographic image based on created and received electromagnetic field, data from position determination system and information on spatial position for each of open windows for electromagnetic radiation, wherein the spatial position information for each of the electromagnetic radiation windows is determined relative to the apparatus, to an external reference system and/or hardware equipment for transmitting/receiving. Developed is a portable/transportable system for forming an electromagnetic tomographic image in a second embodiment, further comprising a portable/transportable apparatus which takes into account object boundaries, having a hollow structure and intended to receive a biological object, hardware equipment for transmitting/receiving electromagnetic radiation, placed outside the apparatus, physically separated and located at a distance from the apparatus. Developed is a portable apparatus which takes into account object boundaries used for electromagnetic tomography and comprising a hollow structure, walls of which define boundary of scanning area and at least partially are made of material impermeable for electromagnetic field generated by hardware equipment, transmitting and receiving electromagnetic radiation, which is physically separated from the apparatus. Method for electromagnetic tomography of living body parts using a wearable apparatus which takes into account object boundaries, comprising a portable/transportable apparatus which takes into account the boundaries of the object so as to enclose a part of the body of the living person during movement of the person from one place to another, measurement of electromagnetic field after it was scattered/changed as a result of influence of body part of living person; and creating electromagnetic tomographic images of a part of a human body based on the generated and measured electromagnetic field, information on the installed position and spatial position of each of the windows for electromagnetic radiation. At that, information on spatial position for each of windows for electromagnetic radiation is determined relative to apparatus, to external reference system and/or hardware equipment for transmission/reception. Method for electromagnetic tomography of living body parts using a wearable apparatus which takes into account object boundaries, including the installation of a wearable apparatus on a part of the human body, by means of corresponding sluices for each window for electromagnetic radiation independently open or close the windows for monitoring, whether the electromagnetic field passes through the windows, generating an electromagnetic field external to the apparatus, receiving electromagnetic field after it has been scattered/subjected to interference from part of human body, and generating electromagnetic tomographic images of a part of a human body based on the generated and received electromagnetic field. A method for electromagnetic tomography of body parts of a living person is developed using a portable apparatus which takes into account the boundaries of the object, including: placing a portable apparatus on a part of a human body, generating an electromagnetic field by means of corresponding sluices, receiving electromagnetic field after it has been scattered/subjected to interference from part of human body, information on the position of the wearable apparatus is determined, and electromagnetic tomographic images of the human body part are formed.

EFFECT: technical result of disclosed invention consists in improvement of reliability of real-time scanning and diagnostics.
