FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to 4D electromagnetic tomographic differential fused imaging. Plurality of electromagnetic field sources and detectors generate and detect an electromagnetic field domain in a target area. Biological tissue is positioned within target area, and an electromagnetic field is generated via a selected plurality of sources. Field is selectively evaluated so that each of a selected plurality of detectors recognises a source of field from plurality of electromagnetic field sources. Sources and detectors are controlled so that fields generated by selected sources are detected by selected detectors after interacting with tissue. Based on field received at each detector, a complex interference matrix is derived from tissue-generated field, and anatomical and functional image information is reconstructed from said matrix.
EFFECT: enabling generation of fused tomographic image displaying functional/molecular information.
