WEARABLE/PORTABLE UNIT FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC TOMOGRAPHY Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B6/03 A61B6/08

Abstract RU 2603613 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to electromagnetic tomography equipment. Method for electromagnetic tomography of parts of a living human body using a wearable scanner in housing comprises an installation of a wearable and portable scanner so that scanner fits part of living human body during movement of a person from one location to another, wherein wearable and portable scanner has a hollow structure, walls of which comprise a number of "windows" for electromagnetic radiation, determination of position information of wearable scanner relative to external coordinate system, creation of electromagnetic field, external in relation to wearable scanner, which extends into wearable housing of scanner and exits it through window for electromagnetic radiation, independent of opening or closing of windows for electromagnetic radiation for monitoring whether electromagnetic radiation passes through them, wherein step for independent opening or closing "windows" for electromagnetic radiation is carried out using a corresponding micro-gate, with which is equipped each "window", measurement of electromagnetic field after it is dissipated/changed as a result of influence of part of living human body, and creation of electromagnetic tomographic image based on created and measured electromagnetic field using information on installed position and inclusion of information on position of each of plurality of windows for electromagnetic radiation. Second version of method of electromagnetic tomography comprises installation on a living human a wearable scanner, walls of which comprise a plurality of "windows" for electromagnetic radiation, determination of position information of portable body scanner relative to outer frame, independent opening or closing of windows for electromagnetic radiation using a corresponding micro-gate, with which is equipped each "window", for monitoring whether electromagnetic radiation passes through them, creation of electromagnetic field, external in relation to wearable scanner, which extends into wearable housing of scanner and exits it through one or more windows for electromagnetic radiation, measurement of electromagnetic field after it is dissipated/changed as a result of influence of part of living human body, and creation of electromagnetic tomographic image based on created and measured electromagnetic field using information on installed position and inclusion of information on position of each of plurality of windows for electromagnetic radiation.

EFFECT: use of inventions widens range of equipment for electromagnetic tomography.
