FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production, conversion and transmission of electric energy to systems for control of electric generators in order to obtain required value of output parameters, in particular, to autonomous sources of electric power supply, having power plants of internal combustion as an energy source. Disclosed is method of frequency stabilization of output voltage of autonomous power supply source with power plant of internal combustion, in which, when the load drops below the set value, the fuel supply to one or more cylinders is cut off, as long as there are such number of cylinders in operation, at which output shaft rotation frequency remains within preset limits, wherein in the disconnected cylinders the exhaust valves are installed in constantly open, lower position, and the frequency of rotation of the output shaft of the power plant is determined by the frequency of the generated voltage.
EFFECT: providing stable current frequency generated by self-contained power plant with internal combustion engine and increasing its efficiency.
